Suggested Line Up: Comedy In The MET 22.8.15

Comedy In The MET returns tomorrow night and here's the storming suggested line up...

Suzi Ruffell

Performing all over the country Suzi has quickly established herself supporting Alan Carr, Josh Widdicombe and Kevin Bridges on tour. Ruffell’s appeared on BBC3’s Ed Comedy Fest Live and is soon to be performing on Comedy Centrals 'Live From The Comedy Store'.

She also recently recorded a two hour XFM Comedy Special as one of their featured comedy rising stars.

Away from stand up Suzi is also a talented writer with her latest script a collaboration with award winning writer Jon Brittain being nominated for a BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Award which is now in development with BigTalk Productions. She has written for 8 out 10 Cats, The Last leg, Twit of the Year and Stand Up For The Week.

Tom Deacon

Tom is one of the hottest young comedians and presenters on the circuit.

He has been performing live stand-up for the last six years – with three Edinburgh solo shows under his belt – and has been the host of his own TV, radio and online shows on BBC2, BBC Radio1 and YouTube football channel Copa90 – where his Eurofan escapades have notched up over 1 million views.

Tom has made guest appearances on BBC2’s The Rob Brydon Show, Dave’s One Night Stand and ITV2’s Fake Reaction and this year he performed at The Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow in sold-out, 1000-seater theatres.

Chris McCausland

After a harebrained idea that went just a bit too far Chris first gave stand-up a go in the summer of 2003. In the 12 months that followed he was not only voted Jongleurs best newcomer but also achieved a top three placing in another three premier national competitions including Channel Four's "So You Think You're Funny?". He's now playing some of the top clubs in London and around the country including Jongleurs and The Comedy Store, and with his services continuing to increase in demand.

His material spans from the real to the ridiculous - whether it be about university shenanigans or the all too depressing world of the giraffe… and with the odd tale of embarrassment thrown in for good measure!

Tickets are still available at just £10 and can be booked here.

Please note the line up is subject to change.

Comedy In The MET is recommended for ages 16+
