MET Comedy suggested line up 15.11.14

We're in for another top night of Comedy In The MET tomorrow with this suggested line up...

Andy Robinson

Andy Robinson has done over 2000 gigs all over the place, including yer Glee Clubs, Comedy Stores, Highlights and Jongleurs and more!

Also he’s worked as a warm up artist for loads of popular shows on television such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Shooting Stars, Later with Jools Holland and Jonathan Ross

If more trumpets are to be blown Andy has also been the support act for Sean Lock, Rich Hall and Paddy McGuiness. He is also known as comedy legend Jo Brand’s regular support act, and has worked with her for the past ten years.

Al Lubel

Al Lubel became a lawyer to please his mother and a comedian to please himself (which did not please his mother). After graduating from law school in Florida, Al moved to Los Angeles, passed the California Bar Exam on his first try and wouldn't you know it, immediately began the practice of stand-up comedy.

Al gradually began getting work on the road, soon becoming a full-time comic. Within a year he won the $100,000 Grand Prize for comedy on Star Search. More recently, Al just made his fifth appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Gavin Webster

After making his modest debut in a pub in Gateshead in February 1993 Gavin’s done about three thousand gigs from Aberdeen to Abu Dhabi, Manchester to Melbourne and Hartlepool to Hong Kong. Famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach and distinctly original routines, he now boasts a large cult following round the country and particularly on his native Tyneside where he sells out theatres with his one man ninety minute shows. Hard edged routines, quick-fire pastiche pieces, moronic jokes and sardonic songs, his unique style has brought him this kind of praise and attention.

Gavin has also supported Jack Dee and Phill Jupitus on national tours.

There are a handful of tickets left for tomorrow night - to snap them up click here!
