Comedy In The MET Saturday 28th March: Suggested Line Up

We've just had the suggested line up through for Comedy In The MET tomorrow night!

Jake Lambert

Jake started performing comedy in 2013 after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad. Six months after starting it he made it to the semi-final of The BBC New Comedy Award, allowing him to perform on both BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2.

He has supported Matt Richardson on the Reading leg of his UK tour. Jake has sold jokes and written bespoke material for comedians and can be seen performing at many comedy clubs including Comedy Cow and The Piccadilly Comedy Club.

John Newton

John begain his comedy career in January 2003. He fast became known for his inventive writing, covering a wide spectrum of subjects from the surreal to hard hitting.

He is now a regular at the big weekend clubs and works for most of the big players in the industry. He works regularly for: The Comedy Clun Ltd, Highlights, Jongleurs, Comedy Central, Frog and Bucket, Buzz Comedy and CKP.

Simon Clayton

Simon has made many television appearances, including The Punt and Dennis Show, Jo Brand: Through The Cakehole, Harry Hill's Fruit Fancies, For Amusement Only and Is It Bill Bailey? Simon has toured the country with his act, regularly appearing at The Comedy Store and as a guest improviser with top improvisation team The Comedy Store Players.

He has also appeared in London as part of Eddie Izzard's improvisation team and has performed as part of the double act Clayton and Gordillo, described by The Guardian as "the best double act on the circuit"

Simon has made several radio appearances and his voice may be familiar from Radio 1's 59 Minutes Of Truth with Alan Parker or Radio 5 Live's You Cannot Be Serious.
