MET Comedy 25th October: Suggested line up

We've got another fantastic night ahead this Saturday and there's just a handful of tickets left for MET Comedy! Here's the suggested line up...

Ivo Graham

At just twenty-three years old, Ivo Graham’s gauche charm belies a talent rarely seen in someone so young. In his first year of performing Ivo was awarded the acclaimed So You Think You’re Funny New Act Competition at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards. Since graduating in 2012, Ivo’s has been in constant demand in clubs and theatres all over the UK circuit culminating in his critically acclaimed debut show and an appearance on BBC3’s Edinburgh Fest Live 2013.

Romesh Ranganathan

Romesh’s impact on the comedy circuit since his debut in 2010 has seen him quickly make a name for himself as a finalist in the Latitude New Act Compeition 2010, So You Think You’re Funny? final 2010 as well as being a runner up in Amused Moose Laugh Off 2010.

The last twelve months have been incredible for Romesh, with him winning the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Act Award 2013 and his critically acclaimed Edinburgh Festival Debut being nominated for the coveted Best Newcomer Award 2013, culminating in his debut appearance on BBC2's Mock The Week, BBC1's Live At The Apollo, BBC3's Russell Howard's Good News, Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live 2013 and a regular slot on Channel 4's weekly topical show Stand Up For The Week.

Javier Jarquin

Javier plays the biggest clubs in the UK– delighting audiences with well-crafted jokes and a hugely likeable stage persona.
Before coming to the UK in 2010 Javier spent 4 years working as a professional comedian in New Zealand. After winning the 2007 'So You Think You're Funny' competition in Christchirch, he played and headlined in some of the biggest clubs in New Zealand and Melbourne, on a host of television shows, and was a core member of New Zealand's longest running comedy show: Scared Scriptless.
Javier shares his quick-thinking, fast-talking attitude with his audience in a way described as "slick, professional and completely approachable". Being a professional improviser, we're never sure if he's making it up as he goes along - neither is he.
