Line up announcement for Comedy In The MET Saturday 25.1.14

We have had our suggested line up through for the sold out comedy night on Saturday and it looks set to be one of our best yet!

Angela Barnes

After a career in health care Angela finally deccided to give comedy a go. Within a couple of years she had won the 2011 BBC New Comedy Award and was a finalist at the Latitude Festival New Act Of The Year competition. Angela and her witty world view have been catapulted onto numerous radio and television shows including Russell Howard's Good News and Russell Kane's Whistle Stop Tour.

Joining Angela will be...

Justin Moorhouse

To those all around the country Justin is probably best known for his role as young Kenny in Peter Kay's Pheonix Nights and Max and Paddy 's Road To Nowhere.

Justin has also written for television and radio with credits including The 11 O'Clock Show and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. If you thought that was enough, Justin also starred in the highly acclaimed film Looking For Eric.

And...

John Robins

After beginning stand up in 2005 John reached the semi-final of So You Think You're Funny in Edinburgh after only a handful of gigs.

Two years after his first gig he was invited to appear in Avalon's prestigious Comedy Zone Showcase in 2007 at the Edinburgh Festival, following the likes of Al Murray, Dave Gorman, Russell Kane and Ross Noble.

Tickets for Saturday's show are sold out but you can book ahead for other MET Comedy nights here. Tickets are still just £10 and with over half the tickets for February's date sold already make sure you book in early!

*Please note this line up is subject to change.
